ARBEITSBESCHREIBUNG:

Für unseren international tätigen Kunden aus der Luftfahrt, suchen wir einen Quality Assurance Officer (m/w) in Middle East.

Please note: min requirements: fluent german and english language skills!

Key Tasks and Activities:

  • Assist with Day to Day running of the Compliance department
  • Provide Quality Assurance advice, recommendations and support to the Operational team and Client
  • Attend and contribute to team, project, client and third-party meetings as required.
  • Provide regular updates to Compliance Manager and ASM.
  • Liaise regularly with the operational team to understand the challenges they are facing and provide assistance to negate these challenges.
  • Ensure the maintenance of the Internal and Client Quality Assurance system.

Accountabilities:

  • Report on a day to day basis to the Compliance Manager.
  • Support the Compliance and Operational Team in the auditing and review of Quality Control Processes both for the client and internally for WS.
  • Liaise with client in relation to their current Quality Control Processes and ensure compliance with NCASQCP.
  • Perform regular Audits on the Quality Control Processes both for the client and internally for WS
  • Prepare audit reports, non-compliance reports and Corrective Action Plans (CAPS)
  • Implement CAPS to resolve all non-compliance.
  • Provide support and assistance to the compliance Manager as and when required.
  • Monitor and Maintain processes ensuring that all staff and operational staff are adhering to appropriate processes
  • Ensure all administration is correctly issued and maintained relating to any Quality Control Processes
  • Manage client expectations and report in a timely manner to management any issues or requests raised by the client.
  • Report monthly to the Compliance Manager on activities and achievements throughout the month (for inclusion in the monthly Head Office report).
  • Maintain day to day contact with Compliance Manager and ASM as appropriate.
  • Update all appropriate management and operational teams in relation to changes to Quality Control policies and/or procedures on a regular basis.
  • Produce weekly summaries on activities and attend weekly operational meetings with the WS team
  • Identify ways in which procedures can be improved (in relation to performance or cost efficiency).

Skills, Experience and Capabilities:

  • Hold a relevant Quality Assurance Qualification
  • At least 5 years’ experience at Quality Assurance officer level or equivalent.
  • Experience in a Quality Assurance or Compliance role within the Aviation industry
  • Should be familiar with ICAO annex 17/8973 and all EU documents
  • Excellent organisational and management skills.
  • Define and implement ISO processes, ensuring compliance with the ISO 9001 system in conjunction with client.
  • Ensure relationships with Key Stakeholders are effectively built and fully maintained.
  • Assist with all aspects of Communications, Operational Support and Change Management.

 
 In addition:

  • Ability to motivate and energise staff by building a climate of trust and understanding and actively seeking alternative views and opinions.
  • Ability to monitor programmes on multi-disciplinary security projects and to implement remedial action if required.
  • Excellent presentation, organisation and communication skills at all levels, from operative to client, in an appropriate manner, coupled with diplomacy.
  • Ability to write concise and factual Reports.
  • Extensive experience in the Quality Control management of a large scale multi-million-Euro operation.
  • A good level of technical expertise across different types of computer operatingsystems.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Quality Assurance management, or equivalent vocational training and experience.
  • Experience of operating in a high-risk security environment.
  • Experience of managing and investigation of security related incidents from a Quality Assurance perspective.
