Your tasks

The jobholder (f/m/d) is accountable for ensuring on time and on quality delivery of cabin products (Emergency Equipment, Fabrics, Electronics). The person is acting as focal point for the cabin suppliers on behalf of Procurement Operations Cabin.

  • Qualification of suppliers in accordance with company regulations and airworthiness requirements
  • Monitoring the industrial performance of cabin suppliers through assessments (e.g. IPCA)
  • Development of industrial capacity and capability of cabin suppliers by using continuous improvement methodologies
  • In order to achieve strategic targets
  • Monitoring New Product Introduction and Transfers of Work through the supply chain
  • Follow up on Key Performance Indicators to secure immediate containment actions in case of deviations
  • Proactive risk management and management of recovery plans with suppliers in case of delivery performance degradation
  • Acting as interface to internal stakeholders as well as communicating at all levels within the suppliers organization and company to influence the decision making
  • Preparing and supporting regular management meetings (Industrial Senior Management Meeting, Quality Supply Chain Meetings etc.)

Your profile

  • You have a degree in Engineering, ideally in Economics and/or Supply Chain/Quality
  • You bring perennial years of experience in Supplier- and Quality management and in Supply Chain, also you have basic knowledge in Lean management
  • You are good at dealing with MS-Office
  • Your German is advanced and your English business fluent
  • You understand yourself as a team player with excellent communication skills to collaborate with different reference persons
  • You are assertive and customer-oriented
  • You show the ability to analyse complex problems, situations and find suitable solutions
  • Willingness to travel
