Your tasks

The jobholder (d/f/m) is responsible for placing purchase orders upon the need on the company for the cabin commodity Fabrics and Emergency. He/ She is actively involved in the management of the material flows in order to ensure that purchased products are delivered on time as well as quality and cost to the correct delivery destination.

  • Order equipment and parts within all business models 
  • Check and follow up on order on-time and on-quality deliveries and manage the related data in ERP system
  • Acts as a focal point for all supply chain topics within a defined supplier portfolio
  • Launch AOG transport in case of urgent deliveries
  • Monitor inventory level and stock turns based on defined targets
  • Reduce missing parts shortages and contribute to risk management
  • Lead continuous improvements and carry out root cause analysis in case needed

 

Your Profile

  • You have an examen in Business Management and Supply Chain/Logistics
  • You have at least two years experience in Procurement, Disposition and Supply Chain 
  • Good knowledge in MS-Office, SAP and first user knowledge in Taksy/Gesy/Tesy
  • Fluent in German and in English
  • You are a positive, pro-active and customer-oriented working style and ability to develop and propose creative solutions
  • Flexible, able to work under pressure with tight deadlines and successfully deal with unexpected situations 
  • Structured way of working and very good communication, presentation and analytical skills
  • Willingness to travel (1-2x per year)
